Rivers and Tides

Director: Thomas Riedelsheimer
Running Time: 90 minutes
Germany/Scotland 2000

A gorgeous wide-screen time capsule...the river and sea made solid and stone made liquid...a ravishingly beautiful and fragile film.

Landscape sculptor Andy Goldsworthy is world renowned for his work in ice, stone, leaves and wood.

Some of his works survive in their natural habitat while others decay, melt or are blown away. A deeply moving film that makes our temporality visible.

Screening:

23 October 8.30 p.m. Ozone Multiplex
