Since the very first documentary mise-en-scenes by the Lumiere brothers, the genre has been standing on a fine line between reality and fiction. 

The work of the director and writer Jon Bang Carlsen clearly reflects this idea.  He takes the genre out of its so called neutrality and hypothetical objectivity.
