The director draws a private and warm portrait of his cleaning
lady, who came from the Ukraine to Poland hoping to earn some
money.
Pawel Lozinski, son of the celebrated Polish filmmaker Marcel
Lozinski, is a graduate of the National Film School in Poland.
His films have won numerous awards, including The Grand Prix,
Cracow for both The Sisters and The Way It Is
in 1999. One of his earliest films Voyage won the
best young filmmaker of the year, Edynburg 1991
