ABOUT OXDOX

'Documentary films ought to disturb and show reality to be surprising, ambiguous, paradoxical, tragic, grotesque and beautiful, but never didactic or boring'.  Pawel Pawlikowski

The First OXDOX festival 'World Out of Control' gives an individual voice to the polemical, personal, emotive, journalistic and poetic state of the world in May 2003.

A rare opportunity to see so many great films in 5 days and to meet the directors who made them. Eighteen world class directors will be attending the festival for Questions & Answers and Masterclasses. In addition, we are running a schools programme during the morning section of the festival.

'It's a wonderful programme - Don't miss it'.  Nick Broomfield.
