Entry Conditions

The product should be a short factual film of approximately 6 minutes duration for an audience of professional film makers and school students here and in Copenhagen.

The film should be all your own work, exported to mini d.v. tape, along with one signed entry form per product, and be with Keith Branston by 3.30 p.m. on the 7 October 2005. You are advised to have the product backed up onto a hard drive. Wheatley Park School accepts no responsibility for damage/loss of work.

The winning product will be screened at the Oxdox Festival in Oxford, at the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square and at the Danish Film Institute in Copenhagen.

The initial screenings and judging in Wheatley Park School Hall on Friday 21 October 2005 as part of the Oxdox Festival. Parents and friends are invited but spaces will be limited.

The product should include the names of all the people involved and a school logo.  The product will be probably no longer than five minutes duration because each competing school is only allocated 30 minutes in total.

Relevant print work such as posters or packaging can be included with the tape or used as advertising on the day but these will not be judged in the competition.

The competition will be judged by a panel of film and media professionals, whose decision is final.

This year's competition is open to secondary students from Wheatley Park,  The Cherwell School and Abingdon School. All outside help should be acknowledged.

The product should be suitable for a general audience.
