  Travels By Tricycle

  With his self built tricycle trailer, the 74 year old Wang Yimin attracts a lot of attention everywhere he goes – this is because his 98 year old mother is sitting in the back. They have travelled across China for several months. Up to now, his mother has never left her apartment and she wanted to see China before she reached her 100th birthday. As they travel through towns and village, some people assume he is selling something – he is, he tells them, in the back is a 98 year old ginseng root. Wang Yimin peddles through all weathers and up steep terrain and through it all says it is the least he can do after all she has done for him.
