Post Screening Discussion With Director
‘Come with me, I’ll show you my Summer land! Do you even know where Estonia is? Right bang in the centre of life’, big brother said to his little sister. Many years ago Klaus Tiedemann set off to the Baltic States in search of his roots and the path of self-determination. He came to find his paradise in a small fishing village in the north east of Estonia. It was here that he met his unexplained and untimely death. His sister, the film director, Sibylle Teidermann, makes her own way to Estonia following in her brother’s footsteps in search of answers. A moving film about loss and renewal and an encounter with a mysterious corner of the earth called Estonia.
